Kampala Prayer Celebration Day 2026 (Busoga Prayer Week Opening Service)

The Busoga Consortium for Development (BCD) invites all Basoga and well-wishers within the Greater Kampala area to attend the opening service of the 2026 Busoga Prayer Week, designated as "Kampala Prayer Celebration Day - 2026." Scheduled for Monday, 21st September 2026 at 5:00 PM, the service will take place at All Saints Cathedral in Nakasero, Kampala, under the theme "Let Us Rise and Build" Busoga (Nehemiah 2:18).

The prayer gathering will feature Rt. Hon. Dr. Rebecca A. Kadaga, 1st Deputy Prime Minister of Uganda and Patron of BCD, as Chief Guest, with Rt. Rev. Fredrick Jackson Baalwa serving as Main Celebrant alongside Rt. Rev. Prof. Grace Lubaale.

The community fellowship brings together socio-economic leaders, clergy, and residents to intercede for blessings toward ongoing development and unity initiatives across the Busoga region.
